The pervasive interconnection of organizations, their infrastructures and business processes creates new business opportunities but also major challenges. Cyber attacks may reach them from anywhere in the world, with potentially far-reaching consequences. The research group Cybersecurity - Enterprise Security, led by Dr. Christian Doerr, provides insight into the cyber threat landscape. We develop methods and strategies to obtain situational awareness, detect cyber attacks on IT infrastructures, and effectively defend organizations against them.
