IFIP TM-Symposium: Industry meets Academia

22nd - 23rd of March 2012, Potsdam, Germany

As part of a series of conferences held by the IFIP working group (11.11) on Trust Management and events hosted by Hasso Plattner Institute, we are organizing a symposium that brings industry to meet academia. The aim is to bring both communities together to establish connections, discuss research, and to present problems in the industry that may have solutions in the academic world.   Trust Management includes topics such as:

- semantics and models for security and trust
- trust management architectures and mechanisms
- policy-based approach to trust management
- reputation and recommendation systems
- identity management 
- privacy and trust
- trust in e-commerce, e-service, e-government
- trust in Semantic Web
- social and legal aspect of trust

The social event dinner is on 22nd of March. 

Please note that cancelation of the registration after 5th of March is subjected to full charge.

Travel and Hotel Information:

Hotels that are close to the institute: Avendi and Mercure. Mercure is offering rooms for the conference attendees at 70€ per night for a single room (offer ends 21st of February, make sure to book your room early).
