HPI BPC: Inspirations-Talk "Digital Health"

Speaker: Dr. Sven Jungmann

Topic: "What you need to know about our healthcare system to shape a healthier future?"

Healthcare has seen great advances in the recent decades. However, today's system is inefficient, and it faces intense cost pressures leading to staff shortages, high burnout rates, long waiting times, and health inequities.
At the same time, society dreams of personalised care for everyone, everywhere, and at any time. Emerging technologies bear the promise of bringing us closer to that goal.
Yet, healthcare is among the least digitised of all industries. Join us for an interactive seminar.

Dr Sven Jungmann will discuss the threats to sustainability and highlight the main visions for making healthcare personalised, more efficient, and fairer. The seminar consists of three speeches, each followed by a discussion:

  • The problem landscape in medical research and practice
  • Future perspectives, including the emergence of learning healthcare systems
  • Driving change in healthcare: heuristics for innovators

After these three sessions, Sven is available as a sparring partner for your ideas.

About Sven:
