Scientific Program Manager – Digital Health (m/f/d)

The Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) is Germany's university centre of excellence for digital engineering. Together with international partners, HPI establishes applications in Digital Health as a contribution to the digital transformation in healthcare and society with global reach. HPI conducts research and teaching for Digital Health at two locations: for Germany and Europe with the HPI Digital Health Center in Potsdam and for North America with the newly founded Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Health at Mount Sinai in New York City.

The HPI Digital Health Center - Chair of Personalised Medicine of Prof. Dr. Erwin Böttinger - is shaping the future of medicine with pioneering developments for data-driven personalised health services using high-dimensional multimodal data.

 

Scientific Program Manager – Digital Health (m/f/d)

Working hours: 40 hours per week / Start: as soon as possible / Term: initially 2 years

 

Your future tasks

  • Technical-scientific management of EU- and national-funded R&D projects
  • Multifaceted collaboration in R&D projects on digital health and personalized medicine
  • Management responsibility of project staff
  • Administrative and financial project controlling
  • Acquisition of project funding
  • Preparation, execution and moderation of workshops, meetings, and video calls
  • Presentations at conferences and trade fairs,
  • Preparation of publications and project reports

 

Your profile

  • University degree, preferably in the fields of data science, computer science, health sciences, medicine or engineering, doctoral degree preferred
  • Experience in interdisciplinary, scientific work in third-party or publicly funded collaborative projects, preferably international in the field of digitization
  • Experiences in healthcare, research platforms or app development advantageous
  • Experience with ethical, legal, and social aspects as well as data protection advantageous
  • Committed, independent, flexible, able to work in teams
  • Very good communication skills in English and German
