Jonathan Edelman

Jonathan Edelman is currently a PhD Candidate at Stanford University's Center for Design Research. His research concerns the shared objects that design engineering teams use to develop ideas, and the conversations these objects incite. Edelman holds a Master's degree in Product Design from Stanford's Joint Program in Design. He has written and photographed the PRL Case Studies, which examine the mechanical engineering design process at Stanford's Product Realization Lab, as well as instituted the PRL Digigal Documentation Lab. He taught introductory design for the Department of Art and Art History at Stanford, as well as co-taught a thesis preparation class for the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
