Matthias Uflacker

After studying Computer Science at the Monash University and University of Oldenburg, Matthias Uflacker attained a Ph.D. degree from Professor Dr. Hasso Plattner at the Hasso Plattner Institute for IT Systems Engineering in the department of ‘Enterprise Platform and Integration Concepts’, Potsdam, Germany. Following his responsibility for joint research and development projects with SAP, Stanford University and others, and after completion of his doctorate in 2011, he moved to the newly founded SAP Innovation Center in Potsdam where he was entrusted with establishing new enterprise application concepts based on in-memory database technology developed at HPI in conjunction with SAP. In September 2013, Dr. Uflacker has returned to the Hasso Plattner Institute to represent the department of Professor Plattner there.
