Parastoo Abtahi is a PhD candidate at Stanford University, working with Prof. Sean Follmer from the Mechanical Engineering department and Prof. James Landay from Computer Science. She graduated from the Engineering Science program at University of Toronto, with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Her interests include human-computer interaction, virtual and augmented reality, tangible user-interfaces, and ubiquitous computing. More recently, she has been working on developing tools to support designers in the process of rapid prototyping of human-robot interactions.
