Start-up Bootcamps

Once a year Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) organizes a startup bootcamp. Like-minded people come together in workshops to work intensively for two to three day on turning a business idea into a viable business model. Upon conclusion of the bootcamp, the teams receive ongoing support in founding a successful IT startup.

HPI students or alumni work in small teams or alone on their own business idea with the goal of developing a viable business model that could be the foundation for a startup. In a time span of 1.5–3 days, relevant information is deepened in subject-specific modules and workshops. The focus topics may include the following: team formation, idea generation, and customer-focused product development.
