3D Content Logistics GmbH

3D Content Logistics develops innovative IT solutions for the analysis and communication of multidimensional geodata. Its particular strength is the automatic integration and fusion of various spatial data—for example, sales figures, population data, and energy consumption data—with complex 3-D information models. These include those based on massive 3-D city models or detailed building models. With interactive visualization and analysis methods, the data can then be playfully explored and connections in the data discovered. New insights can be gained, recommendations better derived, decisions made more securely, and communication carried out more effectively. Interactive 3-D information systems and 3D visual analytics procedures form the technological core of the solutions. They encapsulate complex, technically elaborate computer-graphic techniques in a solution of easy-to-use building blocks. The special highlight: the transmission capacity to the client is no longer dependent on the model’s complexity. Efficient use in the web or on mobile devices is possible even for larger models.

3D Content Logistics, based in Potsdam, is a spin-off of the Hasso-Plattner-Institute and has been active on the market since 2012. CEO Benjamin Hagedorn and CTO Jan Klimke, as well as the majority of the developer team, received their training at Hasso Plattner Institute.
