VISENSE provides a data-driven system solution that revolutionizes the detection and analysis of machine errors in production lines. We make this possible by equipping industrial machines with the necessary hardware to record error events in production through video data. The video data is then enriched with sensor information and AI-driven data analysis. This allows machine experts to monitor machine performance at any time and analyze failure causes faster. Through our VISENSE Incident Management Platform, relevant stakeholders around the machine can monitor machine performance, troubleshoot causes faster, share insights and exploit them. This makes a significant contribution to digitalizing and simplifying diverse work processes around the industrial plant.
VISENSE emerged from a joint design thinking project of students from the Business Innovation and IT-Systems-Engineering departments of the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) and the University of St.Gallen (HSG) in collaboration with the BMW Group. VISENSE 2020 was founded by Marvin Thilele (HPI Alumni), Pia Spori (HSG) and Christian Reich (HSG).
