Dear Prospective Startup Founder,
We want to tell you about a valuable chance to become familiar with the difficult topic of “IP law” in the field of IT. This opportunity comes in the form of the free MOOC from openHPI on IT law for software developers. The course starts on 14 September. Below you will find the announcement text including a link for registration.
The new course begins on 14 September at openHPI, the online learning platform of Hasso Plattner Institute. The course, entitled “IT Law for Software Developers — 9 Topics that You Need to Know,” is free of charge.
As a computer scientist, and particularly as founder of a software startup, sooner or later you will find yourself confronted with legal issues. This 4-week Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) will give you a solid overview of topics such as: contract design, trademark law, patent law, copyright, and data protection, in addition to valuable tips from the field.
We welcome and encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to get a better understanding of IT law from two experts in the field, lawyers Dr. Anselm Brandi-Dohrn and Prof. Christian Czychowski.
