After 20 teams successfully submitted their business plan ideas, the E-School hosted individual feedback rounds on May 23rd and 24th. The task of selecting which 10 teams to advance through the next round of the competition proved difficult, as the presented ideas were highly diverse – from b2c mental health apps, through IoT solutions for corporate, and specialized solutions for nice markets.
With the kickoff of phase 2 on May 31st, the teams will begin their explorations of the “Inside World” [of startup evolution/development/?], by examining the development of an MVP, customer interviews and strategies to monetarize their [ideas?]. The input session by Dr. Manuel Effenberg served as an introduction to these topics. As a conclusion to the first phase, the participants discussed various ideas over drinks and bagels, and swapped know-how [?]. The second phase is set to end on June 17th, with a second round of feedback, [which would then prompt the teams to prepare a complete pitch deck?].
We are inspired by the participants’ commitment, the creativity of their ideas, and the hard work they have put into their submissions. The task to select the three winners in September will not be an easy one. We hope to see the ideas of not only our 10 semi-finalists, but those of all other participants, become reality in the near future.
