Nadja Hatzijordanou: Competitor Analysis Workshop at up2b Breakthrough

On October 6th 2018 the E-School Team Lead Nadja Hatzijordanou held a workshop on competitor analysis as a part of up2b’s Breakthrough program.

Breakthrough is an intensive six week program, organized by InnoWerft, which aims to support entrepreneurs in the very early or pre-seed stage of their business. The goal is to develop a business idea into a validation-ready business model, with the help of mentors and experts.

Competitor analysis is a key part of every business plan, and essential when talking to potential investors and customers. It is also a crucial starting point for developing strategies and assessing business models. However, startups tend to have several blind spots with regard to who their competition is, how they compete, and how a clear positioning can be determined in the market.
