Honors for HPI students at graduation ceremony

Several students associated with the Algorithm Engineering group received academic honors at this-years graduation ceremony of the University of Potsdam. Philipp Fischbeck, Stefan Neubert, and Christopher Weyand were commended for graduating with a Master's degree with perfect marks on top of the Class of 2019. All three are now PhD students with the group. The same honor on the Bachelor level was bestowed on Freya Behrens, Hans Gawendowicz, and Julius Lischeid, who are tutors for the Theoretical Computer Science lectures.

Students from other groups at the HPI also received distinctions. Pedro Lopes of the Human Computer Interaction group was awarded the best PhD disseration in 2019 (Interactive Systems Based on Electrical Muscle Stimulation) and Stephan Haarmann of the Business Process Technology the best Master's thesis (Decision-Aware Compliance Checking).
