Talk at HPI New York

Tobias Friedrich gave a talk on The Intrinsic Geometry of Large Networks on August 20 at the HPI New York. He presented a collection of core features many real-world networks have in common and showed how these features enable new algorithms, e.g. for information dissemination, deanonymization, and data visualization. A video recording of his talk can be found here. Later that day, he joined Kurt Becker (NYU) and Manfred Nettekoven (RWTH Aachen) for a roundtable discussion about the Role of Universities as Incubators of Innovation.
