Two scientific visitors

The new year starts out with two researchers from Spain visiting the Algorithm Engineering group.

Jose-Manuel Velasco is an Associate Professor at the Adaptive and Bioinspired Systems Research Group of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is working in Grammatical Evolution and Genetic Programming for medical and bioinformatic applications. Velasco will stay with the group for three months, starting at January 15.

Jordi Levy is currently affiliated with the Instituto de Investigación en Inteligencia Artificial in the Spanish Council for Scientific Research. His work focuses on random satisfiability problems in AI. Levy will visit from February 25 to March 3.
