The acceptance and relevance of artificial intelligence have increased significantly over the past few years. However, SMEs have to face different challenges while integrating AI into their business processes. These challenges are including acceptance and trustworthiness in the technology itself but also the lack of competence in terms of assessing the value of AI applications. In addition, there is an uncertainty of who has the access to the data and the responsibility. Financial risks also influence entrepreneurs when integrating artificial intelligence into business processes.

In cooperation with _Gemeinsam digital and IHK Munich, the Learning Systems Platform aims to contribute to the AI-Transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises. Prof. Dr. Katharina Hölzle was part of the panel and discussed the challenges which eventually occur while implementing AI.
