Workshop: “Image Dataset Curation – Art Recommendation System”

On February 05, 2024 we offer the free workshop “Image Dataset Curation – Art Recommendation System” from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on site at HPI in Potsdam.

All AI enthusiasts, data scientists and machine learning engineers are welcome to this hands-on workshop on building an art recommendation system using machine learning techniques. Basic Python knowledge is required. 

In this workshop, you will learn how to build an art recommendation system using machine learning techniques. Covering everything from scraping artwork images from the web to employing pretrained convolutional neural networks and extracting and exploring image embeddings with Resnet and PyTorch, the workshop provides hands-on experience in the complete process.  
 
All you need to bring is a laptop. Please create a Google user account before attending the workshop as we will use Google Drive and Google Colab.
