For the first time, the international Conference on Web and Internet Economics (WINE) takes place in Germany. WINE 2021 continues the successful tradition of the Conference on Web and Internet Economics (named Workshop on Internet & Network Economics until 2013), which was held annually from 2005 to present. Over the past two decades, this interdisciplinary forum has contributed to an exchange of ideas and results on incentives and computation arising from various fields. The program will feature talks with the keynote speakers Eli Ben Sasson, Colin Camerer, Annie Liang and Jenn Wortman Vaughan, tutorials, paper presentations, social activities, and a panel discussion.

The 17th conference on Web and Internet Economics will highlight some of the best works in algorithmic game theory that appeared in conferences and journals other than WINE, or mature working papers. The intention of this session is to expose WINE attendees to exciting works beyond the boundary of their current awareness. Papers with focus on Web and Internet Economics that have made breakthrough advances, provided new directions, or had significant impact on practice were nominated. These issues are of particular importance in the Web and the Internet that enable the interaction of large and diverse populations.
