Short Bio

Dr. Matthias Uflacker is chair representative at the chair of Prof. Dr. Hasso Plattner at the Hasso Plattner Institute for Software Systems Engineering, University of Potsdam, Germany (HPI). After graduating in Computer Science at Monash University and University of Oldenburg, Matthias received his doctoral degree at HPI under supervision of Prof. Dr. Hasso Plattner in 2011. After completion of his doctorate, he joined the newly founded SAP Innovation Center in Potsdam where he was investigating and establishing new concepts for enterprise applications based on in-memory database technology. In September 2013, he returned to the Hasso Plattner Institute to direct the department of Professor Plattner.
