40 Chinese children are visiting

Once upon a time... That’s how stories began in former times. But not anymore! This week Chinese children developed new ways of storytelling.

During the last three days the HPI D-School hosted a Design Thinking Workshop for 40 Chinese children between 9 and 15 years. The children were working on the challenge "Design something that helps adults to share their stories“ and developed new ways of storytelling and solutions to improve the (future) communication for adults.

The children ran through the whole Design Thinking process and experienced different Design Thinking methods.

The event was organized in cooperation with YouthMBA, a Chinese start-up, which is specialized in non-formal education programs. The workshop was part of the first summer academy that YouthMBA has organized outside of Asia.
