You're cordially invited to join us for a new D-Flect session on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. For our upcoming D-Flect we invited Dr. Ralf Herbrich from Amazon, who will give an input on:
Design Thinking and Working Backwards from Customers @ Amazon
Amazon strives to be the most customer-centric company in the world. But how do they do it? What are their secret techniques? Do they write press releases for a product that hasn’t even been developed? Do they replace all PowerPoint presentations with written 6-pagers? Join us at the next D-Flect to learn more about Amazon's working culture.
Dr. Ralf Herbrich is Managing Director of the Amazon Development Center Germany GmbH and Director of Machine Learning at Amazon. After studying computer science and finishing his doctorate at the TU Berlin, he was a guest researcher at the University of Bristol, the University of Canberra, and Cambridge University. Afterwards, he held various positions at Microsoft in the UK and at Facebook in Palo Alto, California.
