Dr. Ralf Herbrich is Managing Director of the Amazon Development Center Germany GmbH and Director of Machine Learning at Amazon. After studying computer science and finishing his doctorate at the TU Berlin, he was a guest researcher at the University of Bristol, the University of Canberra, and Cambridge University. Afterwards, he held various positions at Microsoft in the UK and at Facebook in Palo Alto, California.
