HPI Startup Bootcamp Cybersecurity

The HPI E-School will be hosting this year's bootcamp dedicated to the topic "Cybersecurity" from November 27th to November 29th, 2020.

During the three-day workshop, business ideas around the topic of "Cybersecurity" will be introduced and then developed and tested by the teams.

What to expect?

You will get insights in idea and value proposition, business model development, customer-focused product development, prototyping, and pitching. Moreover, you will practically implement your learnings in small workshops.

Participants thus have the opportunity to work on their own or another person's business idea in a focused and intensive manner, to get feedback and to interact with and get to know like-minded people. Furthermore, experienced coaches will guide you through your journey and you will get hands-on feedback from a jury of investors and entrepreneurs. But above all, you will have fun while being extremely creative!

What else awaits you? Experienced entrepreneurs as keynote speakers, interesting learning sessions, tasty food, craft beer, a retro gaming and chilling area, mini games, great partners and jury members and cool prizes.

And if that's not enough, at the end of the bootcamp, you can continue your work on the business idea supported by the E-School team. It is also possible to apply for financial support from the HPI Seed Fund. These downstream offers bolster the implementation of the business model in the real world.

Why Cybersecurity?

Cybersecurity's importance is on the rise. Fundamentally, our society is more technologically reliant than ever before and there is no sign for a turnaround.

Cybersecurity aims to protect digital infrastructure, systems and programs from various forms of cyber attacks.

Today not only our personal data is endangered by the increasing use on social media platforms and various webbased services that require our data, but also companies are more and more often target of cyber attacks.

Due to the developments in this area the Hasso Plattner Institute introduced the master studies program of cybersecurity in 2019 and the E-School Bootcamp in 2020 will focus on this interesting topic from an entrepreneurship perspective.
