Robert Rose arbeitet als Postdoktorand am Fachgebiet IT-Entrepreneurship am Hasso-Plattner-Institut, Digital Engineering Fakultät, Universität Potsdam.

Seine Forschung beschäftigt sich u. a. mit Gründungsökosystemen, Digital Entrepreneurship sowie der Anwendung der Bibliometrie in der Management- und Organisationsforschung.

Robert Rose promovierte 2019 im Joint-PhD-Programm der Macquarie University (Sydney) und der Universität Potsdam zum Thema 'Leading for team-level creativity and innovation – A bibliometric and field-based analysis' und war Promotionsstipendiat der Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (sdw). Zuvor studierte er Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Freien Universität Berlin (B.Sc.) und der Universität Potsdam (M.Sc., Auszeichnung als Jahrgangsbester mit Absolventenpreis). Parallel dazu absolvierte er ein einjähriges Zusatzstudium an der HPI School of Design Thinking und war Mitgründer eines Technologietransferprojektes sowie einer Innovationsberatung in Berlin. Weiterhin arbeitete er in verschiedenen Start-ups sowie als wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft an der Freien Universität Berlin, Potsdam Transfer und dem Lehrstuhl für Innovationsmanagement und Entrepreneurship an der Universität Potsdam.
