Peer-to-Peer Networks

Peer-to-Peer applications had a resurgence of popularity in recent years thanks to the advent of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. We are interested in security aspects of these systems, in particular attack surfaces on the assumed anonymity of the systems. For this purpose we gather and analyse information on the network participants as well as the network messages.
