HM at SIGEVO Dissertation Award

Every year the ACM Special Interest Group on Genetic and Evolutionary Computation (SIGEVO) award a prize for outstanding PhD theses in that area. Martin Krejca of the Algorithm Engineering group received an honorable mention at the 2020 SIGEVO Dissertation Awards for his work on Theoretical Analyses of Univariate Estimation-of-Distribution Algorithms. The award was won by Dennis Wilson (Université fédérale de Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées) for his Evolving Principles of Artificial Neural Design.
