The focus area of the International Colloquium on Structural Information and Communication Complexity (SIROOCO) is the interplay between knowledge, computing and communication. Members of the Algorithm Engineering group together with colleagues from the University of Cambridge and Sorbonne University contribute a work on how the combination of long and short-range edges influence the spread of information in a network to SIROCCO 2022. The meetings put a special emphasis on creating a collaborative atmosphere for researchers from different fields, the next one is planned in Paderborn, June 27-29.
