Beschreibung
Multi-cloud storage overcomes several challenges faced by public cloud storage systems such as security, vendor lock-in and availability. However, innovative techniques are imperative to fully explore the merits of this model despite the challenges of lack of standardization of interfaces and APIs.
Such innovative techniques are required to detect anomaly activities in the cloud, conduct threat and risk assessments and improve on the existing access control mechanisms.
In this seminar, we will tackle security-related challenges in cloud storage, more specifically we focus on state-of-the art approaches using a combination of machine learning techniques, risk& threat analysis, hybrid-access control mechanisms. Generally the following topics are to be investigated:
- Location-based Access Control
- Secure and scalable inter-organization file sharing
- Machine-Learning based Prediction of Cloud Attacks
- Cloud Security Intelligence Sharing with Independent Subscribers
