Get to HPI via Public Transportation

Dear attendee at 11th Symposium on Future Trends in Service-Oriented Computing,

Due to S-Bahn and tram construction work you have to expect delay and detours when trying to get to HPI via public transportation (station “Griebnitzsee”).

“Dear Passengers,

Between 10pm on Friday, 18 March and 1.30am on Monday, 27 June, the S7 S-Bahn line between Wannsee and Potsdam Main Station will be upgraded in four stages. Different sections of the line will be affected, leading to its closure between […] Griebnitzsee and Potsdam Main Station. Replacement bus services will operate while the line is closed.[…] Until Sunday, 5 May, additional regional trains will run between Wannsee and Potsdam Main Station to compensate for restrictions on the S7 line. We strongly recommend that passengers with bicycles use regional trains.

We recommend using RE 1 or RB21/22 regional trains between Friedrichstrasse, Berlin Central, Zoologischer Garten, Charlottenburg, Wannsee and Potsdam Main Station.

If you intend to use the replacement bus services, please plan for at least 20 minutes extra travel time.

Before you start a journey, we recommend that you check service availability on the http://www.s-bahn-berlin.de, http://www.vbb.de or http://www.bahn.de websites. The information you need is also available on the corresponding apps and http://mobil.s-bahn-berlin.de. These online sources can also show you alternative routes to your destination.

Track renewal is part of essential maintenance work and requires an alteration to our regular timetables. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this disruption may cause.
