Research Interests
I am interested in a broad range of topics in theoretical computer science and algorithms, with a particular emphasis on the design of highly efficient algorithms.
My current research focuses on evolutionary algorithms—simple randomized search heuristics that operate as black-box optimizers. Their theoretical analysis on fundamental benchmark problems, in my case in discrete and mixed continuous–discrete settings, provides valuable insights into how such optimizers can be designed and applied effectively in a variety of practical scenarios.
