Starting from logging instruments for petroleum engineering, to microcontroller for embedded systems, I lost my heart in heuristic algorithms. Especially metaheuristic algorithm, the one originally invented by engineers but drew attention from theoreticians "struggling" to analyze the behavior rigorously. I am amazed how powerful the algorithm is capable of and willing to dig deep into the potential of building the theorems and proofs via experimental results.
