The “Design Thinking and Innovation Research” research group is investigating methods and approaches on how the application of human-centered design (HCD) is leading to sustainable business innovations in a corporate context. Special focus is on software-driven product, service and process innovations. Relevant research topics include methods for better quantification of human-centered design, the management of Design Thinking and HCD in corporations and associations as well as the connection between HCD, Design Thinking and new technologies like artificial intelligence (AI).
