Startup Talk @ HPI: N26

In the seventh lecture of our Startup Talks event seriesGeorg Hauer, General Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at N26 will give a talk on “Bringing Innovation from Europe to the World” on November 4at 5.15 pm at HPI.

It is a common perception, that Silicon Valley is THE technology hub and its native companies rule the digital world. But a young and innovative startup scene in Europe is on its way to create added value on the old continent to conquer the globe. N26 has already developed from an idea to a grown up mobile bank. Based in Berlin, its core mission is to design products for millions of users worldwide while valuing its European base. Georg Hauer will talk about the mission of N26 to expand globally, which steps are needed to rise to a worldwide acting company and what advantages Germany and Europe offer to the startup community.

Georg Hauer is General Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at N26, the mobile bank. Prior to that, he was responsible for global lifecycle and product marketing. Before joining N26, Georg Hauer was General Manager at Uber and a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group. He holds an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and a master's degree from WU Vienna.
