It sounds like a fairy tale. 10 years ago, in a tiny little office in Torstraße, Berlin-Mitte, a team of young people had the crazy idea of selling flip flops via the internet. Unbelievable that 10 years later, they became the leading online fashion platform in Europe. Listen to Dr. Jan Bartels, who has been part of this amazing journey, give insights on enabling hyper-growth through leading in-house technology and automation solutions. He will provide a close-up view into the company culture, which is still driven by the founding mindset, fueled by entrepreneurship, speed, customer obsession and empowerment, now on a mission to become the starting point for fashion. Dr. Jan Bartels will also talk about how Zalando's Fulfillment Technology, managing the increasingly complex Logistic Network, enables the ambitious growth targets tripling the value of goods sold to 20 billion euros by 2023/24.
