In winter semester 2016/2017, the E-School plans to hold a practice-oriented IT entrepreneurship seminar for the first time that will take the form of a “spin-out track.” The intention is that Master students work in teams on IT problems that are defined by the practice partner. In cooperation with the practice partner, students aim to develop the practical problem into a product and business idea that will be tested and evaluated. Based on the test results, a business model for founding a startup is subsequently worked out. Typical, related topics in entrepreneurship (business model canvas, lean startup, etc.) are simultaneously presented and elaborated in workshops.
