Short Profile

Lea Daniel is an external PhD student at the Department of IT Entrepreneurship at the Hasso Plattner Institute, Digital Engineering Faculty of the University of Potsdam since July 2021.
As part of her dissertation, Lea is studying the digital transformation of agriculture in the context of socio-technical systems.

Lea is a project manager in agile software development at simpleshow gmbh, along with her PhD. Prior to that, she was a research assistant at the Chair of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Potsdam.
Lea Daniel studied Future Studies (M.A.) at Freie Universität Berlin. During this time, she worked as a research assistant for the Fraunhofer Institute for Innovation and Systems Research in the field of foresight. She mainly contributed to the project "Radical Innovation Breakthrough Inquirer", a foresight report of the European Commission. She also supported various projects in the field of mobility and energy production. Previously, Lea completed a degree in economics (B.A. Business Administration, Fachhochschule für Ökonomie und Management Essen) and worked as an executive in agile project management for a leading European multi-brand retailer.
