Workshop: “Image Dataset Curation – Art Recommendation System”

AI Workshop | March 19, 2024 | Potsdam / Hybrid | 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. | other dates

In this workshop you will learn how to create, clean up and label your own data sets. As an example, we will build an art recommendation system step by step. You will need basic Python knowledge for this workshop.

In this workshop, you will learn how to build an art recommendation system using machine learning techniques. Covering everything from scraping artwork images from the web to employing pretrained convolutional neural networks and extracting and exploring image embeddings with Resnet and PyTorch, the workshop provides hands-on experience in the complete process.

All you need to bring is a laptop. Please create a Google user account before attending the workshop as we will use Google Drive and Google Colab.
