AI Workshop: “Working with Embeddings: An Introductory Workshop with Applications on Semantic Search”

On January 23, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. we offer again the free AI workshop “Working with Embeddings: An Introductory Workshop with Applications on Semantic Search” on site at HPI.   
 
All AI enthusiasts, data scientists and developers are welcome to this hands-on workshop on the development of effective embeddings using the example of semantic search. Python knowledge is required.

In this hands-on workshop, we will look at proven embeddings, such as the bag-of-words model. We will explore their applications and related considerations, especially with regard to building our own semantic search engine. In addition, we explore modern techniques that make it possible to develop embeddings.
 
We apply what we learn in practice by continuously testing the developed embeddings in the context of semantic search and evaluating their effectiveness in retrieving relevant information.
