Description

Privacy, security and trust issues are challenges in wider adoption of cloud storage by individuals and enterprises. Current approaches for secure cloud storage are insufficient and malicious attackers constantly devise innovative attacks schemes daily. State-of-the-art secure cloud approaches include use of encryption schemes, multi-cloud architectures, secure authentication and authorization schemes,  and advanced identity management protocols. However, in this seminar we consider creative security approaches that could harden cloud storage security. Topics to be investigated include secure mechanisms for proof of file ownership such as the use of multi-factor authentication and digital watermarking, application of location-based file access control protocols and secure file sharing schemes.
