From Tuesday, September 19, until Friday the HPI hosts the final round of the 35th German Federal Computer Science Competition (Bundeswettbewerb Informatik). 30 exceptional high-school students are invited to contend in several group and solo projects over these four days. They were selected in a two-step contest out of a record number of 1414 participants. The winners of the final round are admitted to the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung) and are eligible to represent Germany in the International Olympiad in Informatics.
Tobias Friedrich is a member of this-years jury and will open the event with a welcoming address on Tuesday evening.
