Maximilian Böther and Leon Schiller combined their Bachelor theses to a paper at this year's Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO). It shows how to use evolutionary algorithms to minimize traffic congestion. This work now won the Best Paper Award of the Real World Application track.
