The German Informatics Society (GI) awards annually since 1994 a prize for the best dissertation to Ph.D. works covering all topics in computer science. The abstracts of the short listed papers are published in the section "Dissertations" of the GI-Edition "Lecture Notes in Informatics". The dissertation of Thomas Bläsius is nominated for this prize. All nominees will present their Ph.D. theses in a colloquium held at Schloss Dagstuhl in the beginning of May 2016.
