Student teams participate in German Collegiate Programming Contest

Two teams of students have successfully participated in this year's ACM German Collegiate Programming Contest (GCPC). For the first time, HPI provided a local contest site.

In this year's GCPC, 16 universities participated from 13 contest sites across germany. Our teams, consisting mostly of students participating in the current course Competitive Programming, reached places 26 and 44 out of 96. The GCPC is the German subregional contest of the ACM's International Collegiate Programming Contest and serves as a preparatory or selection for the next stage, the Northwestern Europe Regional Contest (NWERC).
