The Algorithm Engineering group is proud to announce that Hans Gawendowicz, currently a PhD student at the group, received the Graduation Prize 2022 of the University of Potsdam. In front of the impressive New Palace in Potsdam, he received a prize of 1.000€ for his excellent work within his Master's programme and his Master Thesis titled On a Social Distancing Network Creation Game advised by Tobias Friedrich, Pascal Lenzner and Anna Melnichenko. Furthermore, he held the closing speech of the graduation ceremony.
