As a strategic partner, Cisco helps companies, authorities, organizations and the German state to create secure, high-performance networks that enable them to work better together - so that crucial processes can be completed faster and our society can continue to develop digitally in a protected manner.
To help Germany drive digitalization forward, Deutschland Digital was launched - a $500 million program to accelerate digitalization.
The digitalization of public authorities, ministries and administrations is a major project. Cisco has been a reliable partner to authorities at all levels for decades. Cisco develops products and solutions for networks, network infrastructures, cyber security, data center equipment, video communication and collaboration solutions, cloud/software and services. We support major transformation projects from the planning phase through to implementation and operation. The basis for this is our integrated security strategy, which extends from product development through the supply chain and operations to data protection. Our technologies are regularly certified by the BSI. In our Technology Verification Service Lab in Berlin, the security and operation of network technologies - especially for critical infrastructures and public authorities - can be tested under real conditions. Our Security and Trust Office is also available for all security-related questions.
Cisco knows that offers for state cooperation are based on security and trust in order to guarantee informational self-determination. We want to further develop this independence, digital sovereignty. Sovereignty does not mean developing everything ourselves, but understanding the available technologies in order to use them securely and confidently.
In Germany, Cisco relies on indirect sales via around 1,800 certified partners.
