This May, two PhD students of the research group successfully defended their dissertations:
- Anton Krohmer was the first PhD graduate of the recently formed joint Faculty of Digital Engineering of the University of Potsdam and the Hasso Plattner Institute. His dissertation title was "Structures & Algorithms in Hyperbolic Random Graphs". He joined Google earlier this year.
- Christian Hercher graduaded from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. His dissertation title was "Average-Case Analysis of Parameterized and Probablistic Algorithms". He is now lecturer at University Flensburg.
