In autumn this year, four new members are joining the Algorithm Engineering group. Kirill Simonov, who obtained his PhD at the University of Bergen, Norway, will start his PostDoc position at the group on September 1st. Michelle Luise Döring, who worked on the Margin of Victory for Weighted Tournament Solutions in her Masters thesis, will start her PhD studies two months later on November 1st. At the same time, Jonathan Gadea Harder, who did his Masters thesis Facility Location Games with heterogenous customers with the group, will join as a PhD student. Lastly, Voula Machaira will join the group as a PhD student in December. She did her Masters thesis on A Novel Time-dependent Model for Route Planning in Public Transit Networks.
