Benjamin Hagedorn gave an invited talk on BIM and Digital Cities on the Autodesk BIM Conference 2011. More than 350 participants, mainly from the architecture and urban planning domain, joined the event, which was held in Munich on September 13, 2011. A special focus of this year's event was on infrastructure modeling, the convergence of building information modeling and geographic information systems, as well as its benefits for the whole lifecycle of built environment including planning, construction, usage, and maintenance.
