Model based approaches are used increasingly within the development process of automotive systems. The upcoming standard AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture (AUTOSAR) is one example.
dSPACE is a leading producer of engineering tools for the development and testing of mechatronic control systems. With SystemDeskdSPACE provides a tool-set for the design, integration and implementation of complex system architectures and distributed software systems in the context of AUTOSAR.
Currently different modeling languages are used in the development process of automotive systems which often describe identical parts of the whole system. One challenge is to ensure the consistency of those models describing the same properties.
Together with dSPACE, the possibilities to automatically synchronize AUTOSAR models (used in SystemDesk) with other modeling languages using model transformation techniques are analyzed in this project.
